General Treatments

It is all about tooth health and cosmetic dentistry is only about the aesthetics of a smile. Cosmetic dentistry treats the same dental problems that general dentistry treats while maintaining or improving the natural beauty of your smile.

Scaling/ Teeth cleaningDental scaling is routinely performed to help patients with gum disease and excessive plaque buildup. It is also done to remove stains caused due to food products, ayurvedic medicine, smoking, and tobacco chewing. While a standard cleaning will address the surface of the tooth, scaling goes much deeper

FillingTo treat a cavity your dentist will remove the decayed portion of the tooth and then "fill" the area on the tooth where the decayed material was removed. Fillings are also used to repair cracked or broken teeth and teeth that have been worn down from misuse (such as from nail-biting, tooth grinding or aggressive brushing habits). Fillings are done with different materials such as Glass Ionomer Cement (GIC), Composite resins. Temporary filling are given in case of deep cavities (without pulpal involvement).

Normal/ Atraumatic extractionsInclude removal of grossly decayed tooth, root stumps and extraction done for braces treatment.

EnameloplastyIt is the reduction or rounding up of sharp enamel edges of a tooth.
